Who we are

Next Play Sports makes Next Play Studio, an app that helps sports clubs make their social media posts. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.

What we collect when you sign up

When you join the early-access list, we collect the details you enter in the form: your name, email address, club, sport, your role at the club and an Instagram handle if you give one. We use these details only to send you access to Next Play Studio and updates about it. We also note which link or website brought you to the form, such as our email or Instagram, so we know which of our posts are working. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Our email list is run by Mailchimp, which stores your details on our behalf. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave the list at any time.

How we measure visits to the site

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.

We also run our own visit counter, stored on Cloudflare. For each page you view it records the page, the website or link that sent you, your country and city, the type of device and browser, how long you spent on the page, how far you scrolled and which of our buttons you pressed. It does not use cookies. To count visitors without knowing who they are, it combines your internet address and browser details with a random code that changes every day, and it never stores your internet address. Your browser keeps one note that you have visited before, so we can tell new visitors from returning ones.

We also use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It tells us when someone visits the site or joins the early-access list after seeing one of our ads, which helps us show our ads to the clubs most likely to find them useful. When you join the early-access list, the Meta Pixel also sends Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of your name and email address so it can match the sign-up to your Facebook or Instagram account and the ad you saw. The Meta Pixel uses cookies, and Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy. You can manage the ads Meta shows you in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Where your information is stored

Mailchimp, Cloudflare and Meta may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose services that take reasonable steps to keep information secure.
